TSG 1899 Hoffenheim are interested in signing Soualiho Meité from Belgian side Zulte Waregem, where he is currently on loan from LOSC Lille. Whilst on loan, there is a purchase option which the Belgian side are expected to use, meaning the Bundesliga club will be buying from Zulte Waregem as opposed to Lille.
The move comes after Sebastian Rudy signed for Bayern Munich on a free transfer, where he will join the club in summer. Hoffenheim have already completed the pre-contract signing of Werder Bremen’s Florian Grillitsch, but it’s likely that Julian Nagelsmann will want further reinforcements.
