Following increasing talks of a move for Bordeaux’s Grégory Sertic to Bundesliga side Werder Bremen, former player Lamine Sane told Kicker that “it would be a win for Bremen,” if they were to complete the deal.
Still in his first season at Bremen, Sane has of course played alongside Sertic during his time at Bordeaux. The 29-year-old says he has already spoken to the Frenchman, saying: “he waits for Werder [Bremen].”
Sertic is available on a free contract when his current deal expires in June 2017.
