RB Leipzig have confirmed the signing of French youth international Dayot Upamecano from RB Salzburg for €10 million.
The 18-year-old spent just one season in Austria following his move from Valencienne U19 in 2015.
Upamecano’s arrival to RB Leipzig is likely to see Kyriakos Papadopoulos depart for Hamburger SV, after sporting director Ralf Ragnick confirmed their interest on Friday.
The central defender has signed a contract until 2021.
