Despite continued wooing from PSG, Klaus Allofs has stressed that Julian Draxler will be fully concentrating on his upcoming season as a VfL Wolfsburg player, SPORT1 have reported.
It is possible that this is more than flirting and the future of the 22-year-old lies in the city of love. SPORT1 have reported PSG’s interest in Draxler for some time. But now the British newspaper, Sunday People, are claiming that Draxler could be making the move to France.
For a long time, Draxler was high on Arsenal’s wishlist, with the London club repeatedly sending scouts to observe him.
It seems unlikely, however, that Draxler will move anywhere. Wolfsburg had recently stated that they would not allow the ex-Schalke player to be released. Manager Klaus Allofs was quoted on Sunday as saying ‘Julian will now fully concentrate on his season with VfL.’
