Tottenham Hotspur to bid €45million for Max Meyer

Tottenham Hotspur will make a huge bid of around €45million for FC Schalke 04 attacking midfielder Max Meyer before the close of the transfer window, according to BILD.

According to the report, Schalke sporting director Christian Heidel could consider accepting such a huge offer for the 20 year old even if they don’t get the time to sign a replacement for him.

Meyer, a Schalke youth product, could pocket a big pay rise if he signs for Spurs with the Premier League club said to be preparing to offer him a 5 year contract worth €8million per annum in terms of wages.

Meyer represented the German national team at Rio Olympics 2016.
