Schalke have submitted an official bid of roughly €12m for Sevilla winger for Yevhen Konoplyanka, according to Bild.
The Ukrainian has been linked with Premier League teams such as Tottenham and Liverpool in previous windows but Schalke have made their move in an attempt to replace Leroy Sané, who joined Manchester City earlier this month.
Bild also suggest that, should Schalke fail in their attempt to sign Konoplyanka, they will turn to Wolfsburg’s Daniel Caligiuri.
