Following a troublesome 2015/16 Bundesliga campaign with Bayern Munich, due to injury, Franck Ribery has praised the club’s new head coach, Carlo Ancelotti.
“Under Ancelotti, I finally feel like I’m trusted again,” said the 33-year-old in Monday’s edition of the German sports magazine, Kicker.
“He’s an awesome coach and I need people like him or Jupp Heynckes and Ottmar Hitzfeld.
“He [Ancelotti] is a gift for the club.”
Bayern Munich arrived in Chicago on Monday ahead of their pre-season tour of the United States, where they will play AC Milan, Inter and Real Madrid before returning to Germany to face Borussia Dortmund in the Super Cup.
