Robert Bauer has joined Werder Bremen from Ingolstadt after the two clubs agreed a fee.
The 21-year-old played in the Olympic Games in Rio for Germany, before completing his medical on Tuesday, where he then signed a contract.
“From the beginning, we had very positive conversations,” said Bauer. “I sensed immediately that I would like to make the change and a move to Werder is the perfect step.”
