Koen Casteels to stay at Wolfsburg after rejecting three inquiries

Wolfsburg goalkeeper Koen Casteels is willing to challenge Diego Benaglio as the club’s first-choice keeper after turning down inquiries from three clubs, according to Kicker.

The report states that the 24-year-old Belgian has recently rejected approaches from Werder Bremen, Mainz and Sunderland.

Casteels joined Wolfsburg from Hoffenheim in January last year before being loaned out to Werder Bremen for the rest of the 2014/15 season.
