Joshua Kimmich: Bayern Munich won’t get carried away after fantastic start

Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich has insisted that the club won’t get carried away after enjoying a fantastic start to the season under new boss Carlo Ancelotti.

Bayern have so far won all of their competitive games under Ancelotti and Kimmich himself has been instrumental in helping the club to this great start to the season.

The 21 year old scored against FC Schalke in the league last Friday before grabbing a brace in last night’s 5-0 demolition of FC Rostov in the UEFA Champions League.

“I do not know why my shots have started working,” Kimmich told Sky Sport Germany.

“So far I did not have much success, I normally scored two or three goals in a season.

“It is difficult to think about winning the Champions League. For now, the team just needs to score points in the championship, and the most important thing is that there is no injuries.”
