After joining OGC Nice in the summer, Dante spoke to Kicker about his time in the south of France and his reunion with former coach Lucien Favre.
“Lucian Favre came is as coach with a very good idea,” Dante told Kicker. “We have good new players like Cyprien, Balotellu and Belhanda.”
Nice currently find themselves sitting top of Ligue 1, after finishing fourth last season.
“We do not look at the table. We want to play football and have fun.”
Dante worked under Favre at Borussia Mönchengladbach.
“We always stayed in touch. Favre and Dante are a good combination,” he added.
