Carlo Ancelotti looking forward to the return of Bayern Munich’s Euro 2016 stars

Carlo Ancelotti is looking forward to the return of Bayern Munich’s Euro 2016 stars.

Thomas Muller, Robert Lewandowski, Jerome Boateng, Manuel Neuer are among players who are due back in Bayern training ahead of the German Super Cup game versus Borussia Dortmund and Ancelotti is excited for their return.

“The international players arrive on Friday, they start work on Friday, they stay with us so we have time to prepare for the Super Cup on the 14th and also the start of the Bundesliga,” the Italian coach said.

New signing and Euro 2016 champion Renato Sanches will also join Bayern training for the first time since his move from Benfica and Ancelotti had kind words for the 18 year old midfielder.

“I think he’s a fantastic player,” the former Real Madrid boss said. “He’s really young. We have to take care of this but he has a lot of quality, a lot of potential. It’s a fantastic signing for us, and I think he will help us build a fantastic squad.”
