Hertha Berlin have signed winger Alexander Esswein from Bundesliga rivals FC Augsburg for €2.5million.
The 26 year old has signed a contract that will keep him at Hertha until the summer of 2020.
Esswein appeared 57 times for Augsburg in all competitions over the last three seasons, scoring five goals.
