PSV’s Ismael Saibari awaiting green light for Bayern Munich move

Bayern Munich have proposed a package of €45m plus €5m in bonuses to PSV for Moroccan attacker Ismael Saibari (25), according to a report by Santi Aouna.

Talks continue between the two clubs, with PSV wanting a base fee of €5m but with a minimal difference between the two price points, a transfer appears near.

Saibari has already agreed on a contract until 2031 and is awaiting for a final agreement between Bayern and PSV, and his subsequent medical. Notably, all parties remain confident that an agreement will be reached soon.

Bayern fought off competition from Paris Saint-Germain, who made enquiries earlier in the year to sign the 25-year-old, who scored 15 goals and provided eight assists in 27 Eredivisie games for PSV in 2025/26.

For Germany’s record champions, it’s another significant attacking outlay after signing Luis Díaz for €70m last summer but with the Colombian turning 30 in the new year, Serge Gnabry injured and Lennart Karl continuing his development, Saibari’s imminent arrival appears, on first look, a transfer coup.GGFN | Daniel Pinder
