VfB Stuttgart have officially confirmed the signing of Feyenoord attacker Leo Sauer. The Swabians edged out regional Baden-Württemberg rivals Hoffenheim to obtain the 20-year-old’s signature. Kicker and all other reputable German footballing media sources confirm a base transfer fee of approximately €12.5m. Moreover, all sources corroborate the existence of performance bonuses tacked onto the deal.
Sauer’s new contract in the BaWü capital runs through 2031. Sauer already possesses a profile in Germany, courtesy of the fact that he made Nnamdi Collins’ life a nightmare during Slovakia’s September 2025 upset of Germany. The young Slovak international will now receive a chance to further enhance his career in the Bundesliga.
