Hoffenheim have reached a verbal agreement for Anderlecht’s Belgian midfielder Nathan De Cat as well as Nijmegen’s Japanese midfielder Kodai Sano, according to Sky Germany.
It was further reported that both players have agreed personal terms until 2031.
Hoffenheim are now in negotiations with both clubs to close the deal and want at least one of the players to join this summer.
17-year-old De Cat made 36 appearances in the Belgian Pro League last season scoring two goals and providing four assists. He has managed to rise through the ranks and become a regular first team player at Anderlecht and is considered one of the brightest young talents in his position.
Sano has a contract until 2028 with Nijmegen where he has spent the past three seasons as a crucial player in the middle of the park. However, it is believed that he will inevitably join Hoffenheim from the Eredivisie side.
