Eintracht Frankfurt are working to sign Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Robert Andrich, according to Kicker and Sky Germany.
Eintracht consider the 31-year-old a leader who can help the team with talks still ongoing between the player and club. However, the Hessen club are yet to start negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen, meaning the price for acquiring the German midfielder is unknown.
Andrich joined Leverkusen from Union Berlin in 2021 for €6.5m. Establishing himself at the BayArena, he became an important part of the squad and managed to win the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal double in 2023/24.
Since his move, Leverkusen’s midfield enforcer has appeared in 138 league games for Die Werkself, scoring 14 goals. He has also made his German national team debut in 2023 and has made 19 appearances for the four-time World Cup winners.
His commanding presence in midfield, hard work and his long range strikes make him a suitable candidate for any side.
