Eintracht Frankfurt are close to reaching a verbal agreement with 20-year-old midfielder Noël Aséko, according to Bild.
The German youth international, who spent the last two seasons on loan at 2. Bundesliga side Hannover, is of interest to Frankfurt, who believe they can fend off interest from outside of Germany.
The problem for Die Adler is that Bayern are interested in integrating the young player into their squad for next season and are yet to decide whether to sell him. Aséko can play at right midfield and right wing-back in addition to his defensive midfield role, making him an ideal option for the Bavarians.
Bayern would demand between €10m-€12m if they decide to sell the German player. It’s reported that the good relationship between Bayern sporting director Max Eberl and his counterpart Markus Krösche at Eintracht can help negotiations between the two clubs go smoothly.
