Bayern Munich’s Kim Min-jae no longer considered for sale

Bayern Munich no longer consider Kim Min-jae for sale, according to Sky Germany

The Korean defender had previously been considered for sale in the winter transfer window should Bayern receive a good offer. However, Kim turned down several offers and now appears to be part of Vincent Kompany’s plans once again.

Previously, the 29-year-old had received an offer from former club Fenerbahçe, while several Italian clubs were also monitoring the player’s situation.

Kim moved to Bayern from Napoli in 2023 for €50m and has since made 116 competitive appearances for the rekordmeister. It’s believed that Kim’s strong performances, particularly towards the end of the last season, further strengthened his manager’s belief that the defender belongs in this Bayern team. Kim made 37 appearances in Bayern’s league and cup double campaign.

Kim’s currently deal at Bayern Munich runs until 2028 and is reportedly highly respected amongst his peers at the club.
