Brighton’s Pascal Groß (33) is the latest of three players to be called up to Julian Nagelsmann’s Germany squad for Euro 2024.
The German has scored five and created 13 in 45 games across all competitions for Brighton under Roberto De Zerbi this season.
Back in August, Get German Football News looked at why Groß should have been a German regular for the last eight years. Now, after being awarded his debut under Hansi Flick, the 33-year-old has been a part of every Germany squad since September.
Robert Andrich and Joshua Kimmich also selected
Bundesliga champion Robert Andrich – one of Bayer Leverkusen’s unsung heroes this season – was the first player to be called up on Wednesday, followed by Joshua Kimmich and Groß. That of course lowers Leon Goretzka’s chances of being called up by Nagelsmann.
🚨🇩🇪 Joshua Kimmich, Pascal Groß and Robert Andrich are the next players to be announced as part of the Germany squad this morning.
