Official | Enzo Millot extends VfB Stuttgart until 2028

VfB Stuttgart have announced that midfielder Enzo Millot has extended his contract at the club until 2028, his original deal was set to expire in 2025.

On extending his contract at the Swabian side, Millot said: “I am very happy about the contract extension until 2028. Our fans and our stadium have a large part in this. The atmosphere at the home games is incredible. We played a top team, a great coach and recently successful games – that’s why I decided to stay longer at VfB.”

Sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth also commented on the extension: “We are pleased about the early contract extension with Enzo Millot. Enzo was one of the power engines in this so successful first round. His personal development is remarkable. As a very young player, he has taken the step towards a reliable performer and was often able to score goals in decisive situations. Its special quality should also help to continue our success story in the new year.”

Millot joined Stuttgart in 2021 from AS Monaco and after an initial transition season, Millot has been prominent in the Stuttgart team for the majority of his time at the club.

However, like most of the Stuttgart team, Millot has developed tremendously under Sebastian Hoeneß and has been one of the players along with Chris Führich to create something for in-form strikers Sehrou Guirassy and Deniz Undav.

It is reported that Stuttgart will aim to try and also extend Führich and club captain Waldemar Anton’s contracts which also expire in 2025. Führich is now a German international while Anton has begun to attract interest from other clubs within the Bundesliga.
