Jamal Musiala fit for Germany’s Euro 2024 campaign

After missing Bayern Munich’s 2-0 win at home to Wolfsburg at the weekend, Jamal Musiala is set to be fit in time for Germany’s Euro 2024 bid.

Musiala made 37 appearances for Bayern this season, contributing 19 goals and assists as Bayern reached the Champions League semi-finals and are set to finish second in the Bundesliga behind champions, Bayer Leverkusen.

However, the German midfielder picked up a knee injury in the Champions League defeat to Real Madrid and is slowly making his way back to fitness.

DFB reporter, Maximilian Koch has confirmed that Musiala has returned to light training and will increase his workload next week.

With inflammation in his knee subsiding, Musiala will be fit for the start of the European Championship preparations on May 26th.

Germany open Euro 2024 in Munich against to Scotland in Munich on June 14, before facing Hungary and Switzerland on June 19 and June 23.
