Jadon Sancho’s loan to Borussia Dortmund hits a roadblock

As reported by Sky Germany, there is still no agreement in place between Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund regarding the loan of Jadon Sancho.

Despite reports indicating that the Englishman would be travelling over to Marbella, where Edin Terzić’s side are currently training, an agreement has not been made in time. However, while the transfer is stalling for now, negotiations are continuing.

According to Sky information, it is the final details of the move that are currently preventing Sancho from travelling to Spain. BvB are hoping to secure an option to buy the 23-year-old at the end of the season, but Manchester United remain firmly against including such a clause in the deal.

Nevertheless, Erik ten Hag has made it clear that Sancho will not play a role at the club for as long as he is in charge at Old Trafford. This season, Sancho featured in the opening three Premier League games for the Red Devils before being ostracised from the side.
