How Bayern Munich could line-up in their top-of-the-table clash against Bayer Leverkusen

Thomas Tuchel is expected to make several changes as Bayern Munich face Bayer Leverkusen at the BayArena in the Bundesliga Topspiel this weekend, with two points separating the teams in this top-of-the-table clash.

Manuel Neuer will face a late fitness test, but Dayot Upamecano is expected to return in central defence in place of Matthijs de Ligt, alongside Eric Dier who has started Bayern’s last two Bundesliga games. Alphonso Davies picked up an injury against Borussia Mönchengladbach last weekend, so expect to see Raphaël Guerreiro at left-back.

Joshua Kimmich has also returned to full training, but we could see Tuchel stick with Aleksandar Pavlović and Leon Goretzka as the double pivot. None of the attacking quartet are expected to change with Leroy Sané. Thomas Müller, Jamal Musiala and Harry Kane all starting.

Kim Min-jae is expected to be on the bench after returning from Asia Cup duty with South Korea, while Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Mathys Tel remain attacking options.
