Borussia Dortmund squad for Champions League clash against PSV

Borussia Dortmund set off from their Brackel training ground on Monday morning to embark on their short journey to Eindhoven ahead of their Champions League clash against PSV.

In addition to Ramy Bensebaini, Donyell Malen travels to the Netherlands following a recent knee injury that kept him sidelined against Wolfsburg on Saturday, despite being named on the substitutes bench. It’s unclear as to whether Malen will start against his former club, but the Dutchman is in excellent form with four goals and an assist in his last four Bundesliga games.

Karim Adeyemi remains sidelined following a muscular injury but Kjell-Arik Wätjen, Julien Duranville and Samuel Bamba all make the squad.

Ruhr Nachrichten report that Mats Hummels could also make his first start of 2024. The 35-year-old has played just nine minutes of football in the calendar year because of the flu.

In attack, Youssoufa Moukoko and Niclas Füllkrug are options, while Sébastien Haller is sidelined with an ankle injury.
