Bayern Munich to reassess every player in their squad in the summer

According to Kicker, Bayern Munich will reassess nearly every member of their squad in the summer and they will not be afraid to make unpopular changes.

There are only three players who are exceptions to this reassessment are Harry Kane, Thomas Müller and Manuel Neuer, meaning every other player could be at risk with Bayern prepared to make unpopular and surprising changes to the squad.

This is likely to affect their winter transfer plans with loan deals now becoming a possibility meaning Bayern are likely to avoid any top-draw signings in central defence and midfield during this period such as Joao Palhinha whose position is no longer viewed as a top priority and any singing of a defensive midfielder will be pushed back to 2024/25 season.

This behaviour can be seen in the players that Bayern have been recently linked to such as Eric Dier, Nordi Mukiele and Radu Drăgușin all of whom are relatively low-cost players that can fill the positions that Bayern need and can then become squad players if they wish to sign a big name further down the line.
