Bayern Munich predicted XI vs Lazio

Thomas Tuchel is expected to make as many as three changes when Bayern Munich face Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico in the Champions League Round of 16 on Wednesday night.

The Rekordmeister come into this game on the back of a 3-0 drubbing against Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen, meaning they are now five points behind Xabi Alonso’s side in the race for this season’s Meisterschale.

Although he’s received backing from club officials, Tuchel will need a response against Lazio.

Defensively, Raphaël Guerreiro should return to the starting lineup ahead of Sacha Boey at left-back, while Joshua Kimmich should start ahead of Aleksandar Pavlović in midfield after returning against Leverkusen on Saturday.

It’s a toss up between Dayot Upamecano and Eric Dier to start alongside Kim Min-jae, BILD and Kicker suggest that Thomas Müller will start as the No. 10.

Boey and Leon Goretzka both face suspensions should they pick up a yellow card against Lazio, while Bryan Zaragoza, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Mathys Tel all remain attacking options from the bench.
