Stuttgart to sign Serbian talent Jovan Milošević

Kicker report that Serbian youth international Jovan Milošević (17) will join Bundesliga side Stuttgart from FK Vojvodina in the summer – the young forward joins for a reported €1.2m.

The transfer was initiated by previous Sporting Director Sven Mislintat but despite his termination, Stuttgart decided to proceed with the agreement, despite Milošević not being of legal age, or a EU citizen, meaning he wouldn’t have been able to play for Stuttgart, not even for VfB II.

That’s why the decision was made to sign Milošević in the summer, so that he can continue to play first team football at FK Vojvodina. Upon turning 18 on July 31, Milošević should then be able to play for Stuttgart.

Milošević has been prolific at youth level, scoring two goals in four games for the Serbia U18s and nine goals in 11 games for the U17s. He can also operate in attacking-midfield.

This comes after Silas Katompa Mvumpa signed a contract extension at VfB.
