Several Premier League clubs interested in Maximilian Beier

According to Sport Bild, several Premier League clubs are interested in Hoffenheim forward Maximilian Beier as it is revealed that he has a release clause in his contract.

Beier recently extended his contract at Hoffenheim until 2027 and a release clause was inserted into his deal. It is reported that the release clause is valued at €30m and Liverpool are said to be one of the teams interested in the 21-year-old as Jürgen Klopp is a big fan.

A sale of Beier would provide Hoffenheim with a hefty sum of money that they can use for something else especially as they heavily rely on the sale of their best players, as seen with the sales of Christoph Baumgartner and David Raum over the past two seasons.

The attacker is Hoffenheim’s top scorer this season with six goals and his form has resulted in rumours surrounding an international call-up earlier in the season but as of late Beier’s form has been on the decline and due to the rise of other strikers such as Deniz Undav, a call up for the 21-year-old in March seems unlikely.
