As reported via Bild, PSG are lining up a potential move for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani.
With the future of 2018 World Cup winner Kylian Mbappé still up in the air, the Parisians are focusing on bringing in additional attacking talent this summer. Kolo Muani is considered to be the priority signing for PSG and discussions at the club have begun surrounding a future €80m offer.
However, for Die Adler, it is unfeasible to imagine allowing their star striker to depart for less than €100m – with Kolo Muani’s contract still valid at the club until 2027. Nevertheless, PSG have supposedly begun speaking to the 24-year-old about their future plans, which could help speed up a subsequent transfer, as Manchester United and Chelsea are also fond of the Frenchman.
During his first campaign in Germany, Kolo Muani would exceed all expectations by scoring 23 goals and collecting 17 assists in 46 matches. He would also impress at the World Cup with France finishing as runners-up to Argentina while scoring in the semi-final against an inspired Morocco.
For PSG there are few other options, as Harry Kane is considered too expensive for the Parisians and they would also face competition from Bayern Munich. Also, while Victor Osimhen is on their radar, the Nigerian striker looks set to remain with Italian champions Napoli ahead of next season.
