PSG leading the chase to sign Marcus Thuram

PSG are set to host fresh talks with Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Marcus Thuram over a possible transfer, according to Fabrizio Ramano

The Frenchman is due to leave Gladbach when his contract expires at the end of the month. The forward has attracted attention from all top European leagues and teams including Manchester United, RB Leipzig, and Borussia Dortmund to name a few.

However, it’s PSG leading that appear to be leading the chase. The Parisians will hold further talks with Thuram and his representatives this week. The 25-year-old is a concrete target and could be the third free agent signing after Marco Asensio and Milan Škriniar who signed a pre-contract in January.

PSG Sporting director Luís Campos allegedly sees Thuram as an ideal target man and an experienced striker that the team is currently lacking. The forward has reportedly confided to his entourage that PSG are well-placed when considering his future club. The older brother of Khéphren Thuram is eyeing a place in the France squad that will fly to Germany for the Euro 2024. What better place to prove yourself than in your home country?
