Mahmoud Dahoud will most likely be playing in the Premier League next season, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Borussia Dortmund midfielder will leave the club this summer on a free transfer. However, it’s not clear where or who he will be playing for next season. While there is interest from several Serie A teams, various Premier League clubs have also registered their interest in the 27-year-old.
As per the report, the German international is edging towards a move to England’s top flight. It’s unsure which Premier League teams have made contact, however. In the past, both Arsenal and Leicester City have reportedly kept tabs on the midfielder. The latter will have to try and maintain their top-flight status first though.
Dahoud move to Dortmund in 2017 from Borussia Monchengladbach. Since then, the midfielder has played over 137 competitive games in black and yellow. However, he never quite impressed enough to be an out-and-out undisputed starting 11 player.
