Borussia Mönchengladbach and Schalke played out a 0-0 draw at Borussia Park in the Bundesliga Topspiel. The game was uneventful but the point Schalke earned was crucial as they close the gap on Hertha Berlin to three points. But for Gladbach the gap between them and Europe continues to widen.

Tim Skarke: 7 – Was on of Schalke’s better attacking players, tested Omlin several times but was unable to beat the Swiss international.
Simon Terodde: 5 – Once again, he has struggled in the Bundesliga all season and makes you think whether he is only good in the 2. Bundesliga.
