Bild reports that Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong leans towards a move to Manchester United in the summer.
The 22-year-old would like to return to Manchester as that was the city he grew up while also coming up through the Manchester City academy before moving to Celtic in 2019. SportBild reports that Leverkusen would like €50m for their right back.
Bild also reports that Bayern Munich are not as interested in Frimpong as reported by Fabrizio Romano. Bayern have not held talks with Frimpong or his agent and they currently have four right-backs at the club with the future of João Cancelo yet to be decided.
This season, Frimpong has played 36 times for Leverkusen but has been one of their main threats on the attacking front scoring eight and assisting nine.
Leverkusen have already signed a potential replacement for Frimpong as they recently announced the signing of Arthur from América MG for €7m.
