Eintracht Frankfurt reach verbal agreement with Rafiu Durosinmi

According to Sky Germany, Eintracht Frankfurt have reached a verbal agreement with Viktoria Plzen striker Rafiu Durosinmi.

Durosinmi is expected to replace now PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani who left Frankfurt at the last minute in the summer transfer window. The final details of the deal need to be clarified with the Czech side but if everything goes smoothly, Frankfurt are expected to pay between €7-8m for the Nigerian.

The 20-year-old only joined Plzen permanently in the summer after a six-month loan spell but in 19 games this season, Durosinmi has scored nine goals and assisted six. This output is similar to that of Kolo Muani last season in the Bundesliga and Durosinmi will add another dimension to Frankfurt’s attack that they have been missing for most of this season.

Frankfurt are currently seventh in the Bundesliga and experienced a slow start to the season attacking-wise but as of late summer signings Omar Marmoush and Farès Chaïbi have begun to click this means that the burden will not rest on Durosinmi as he integrates but when he is settled he may be the missing piece for die Adler.
