Eintracht Frankfurt aim to sign two strikers in the winter

Sport1 reports that Eintracht Frankfurt will aim to sign two strikers in the winter as they wish to boost their striker options after the departure of Randal Kolo Muani in the summer.

Frankfurt currently only have two senior strikers in Omar Marmoush and Jessic Ngankam after the departure of Kolo Muani in to PSG in the summer and now needs to add more experience to the role.

A list of strikers that Frankfurt were interested in was previously reported with names such as Santos’ Marcos Leonardo and Red Bull Salzburg’s Karim Konaté included and it is now reported that two more names have been added.

AZ Alkmaar’s Vangelis Pavlidis is an option for Frankfurt. The 24-year-old has previously played for Bochum but his career has taken off in the Netherlands. In eight games in the Dutch first division this season, the Greek international has 10 goals.

A more familiar face in Ermedin Demirovic is an alternative. The 25-year-old is one of Augsburg’s best players in a season where they currently sit 15th in the Bundesliga. Frankfurt had previously been interested in Demirovic in the summer, but nothing materialised.
