Borussia Mönchengladbach reach verbal agreement with Robin Hack

Sky Germany and Bild both report that Borussia Mönchengladbach have reached an agreement with Arminia Bielefeld winger Robin Hack.

The 24-year-old is set to sign a contract at the club until 2027. The only grey area surrounding the transfer is the fee, it is reported that the fee could be between €1.3m-€2m. Bielefeld has rejected an original offer of €1.5m as they believe that they could avoid relegation and demanded more money.

However, if Bielefeld loses their 2.Bundesliga relegation playoff against Wehen Wiesbaden, then Hack will move to Gladbach on a free transfer as his contract at Bielefeld is only valid in the top two leagues.

Hack joined Bielefeld from 1.FC Nürnberg in 2021 for €1.2m, he has gone on to make 66 appearances, scoring 11 and assisting 12. This season has been his best at Bielefeld where he scored 10 and assisted five but could not stop them from falling into the relegation playoff.
