Borussia Dortmund keeping tabs on Jadon Sancho situation

Borussia Dortmund are monitoring Jadon Sancho’s situation at Manchester United, according to Sport Bild

The England international first made a name for himself at BVB before transferring to United for €85m in 2021. However, the winger’s time in Manchester has been mixed, to say the least. With some injury problems, questions about his attitude, and poor performances, Sancho has moved down the pecking order.

Sport Bild reports that the Red Devils are seeking to offload a number of players this summer including Sancho.

Dortmund are currently monitoring the situation knowing that a fee of around €50m would bring the 23-year-old back to the Bundesliga.

However, BVB are currently prioritising other areas of the pitch which require more attention. The most important right now is central midfield following the departure of Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid.

A move back to familiar surroundings could be perfect for Sancho. Since moving to United, the winger has been in and out of the England national team. With the upcoming Euros in Germany next summer, Sancho will need to play regularly if he is to be in Gareth Southgate’s plans.
