Bayern Munich still €29m apart from Tottenham’s valuation of Harry Kane

Multiple reports indicate that there was significant progress on talks between Bayern Munich and Tottenham but they are still far from agreeing a fee for Harry Kane.

Bayern’s bosses travelled to London yesterday to continue negotiations with Tottenham’s Daniel Levy over completing the transfer of Harry Kane. Although progress was made, the clubs are still around €29m apart in their valuation of the 30-year-old. Tottenham also want to insert a buy-back clause meaning they can bring Kane back to the club in the future.

Tottenham have previously rejected an offer of around €70m plus add-ons and it has previously been reported that the club wants closer to €100m.

Once a transfer fee has been agreed then the deal will likely be completed. Kane wants to move to Munich and has already agreed personal terms with the club.

Whether Kane will be in the squad for Bayern’s opening game away at Werder Bremen on the 18th of August looks uncertain at the moment.
