Bayern Munich offered Sofyan Amrabat

Sofyan Amrabat was offered to Bayern Munich and now the Rekordmeister are monitoring the Moroccan’s situation at Fiorentina, according to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg.

This comes after Philipp Kessler of TZ reported Bayern’s interest in Amrabat as a potential signing at the number six, but the club’s priority at the minute is still West Ham’s Declan Rice.

Amrabat’s preference appears to be a move to Spain but with Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester United and Atlético Madrid all interested, the consensus is that the 26-year-old will leave Fiorentina this summer.

As reported early last month via our colleagues at Get Italian Football News, Amrabat is open to a move to Barcelona with the Catalan club seeing the midfielder as an ideal replacement for Sergio Busquets. But Amrabat won’t come cheap with Fiorentina expecting a fee around €40m.

Amrabat’s performances for Morocco at the World Cup propelled the player to new heights and since joining Fiorentina in 2020, has played 107 games across all competitions.
