Bayern Munich face competition from Real Madrid for Harry Kane

Bayern Munich will face competition from Real Madrid if they hope to sign England star Harry Kane this summer, Sport Bild cites Spanish news agency todofichajes.

Kane has long been linked with a move from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern since the departure of Robert Lewandowski last summer. The Bavarians are monitoring the forward’s situation closely and will be hoping he doesn’t extend his contract with the Premier League club.

However, it now appears that Bayern will face competition from Real Madrid for the 29-year-old England international. As per the report, Kane is on Real’s wish list as they seek to find potential replacements for the ageing Karim Benzema. Along with Kane, the Spanish club are also interested in fellow England star Jude Bellingham (19). Real are believed to be willing to spend approximately €100m on the forward.

Kane has made 412 competitive appearances for Tottenham and scored an incredible 265 goals and assisting a further 62. He is one of the best all-time Premier League goalscorers (3rd) and will become England’s all-time top scorer this year.

In the next few months, it will become clear if Kane intends on staying with Spurs or will be looking elsewhere and perhaps looking to win trophies.
