Bayern Munich do not wish to lose Noussair Mazraoui this summer

As reported by Sport Bild, Bayern Munich do not wish to offload Noussair Mazraoui this summer.

There has been significant interest in the Moroccan right-back, with Juventus contemplating whether to make an offer. The Italian side are said to have been in contact with Mazraoui’s representatives regarding a possible move to Turin.

However, Bayern do not want to lose Mazraoui unless a replacement is acquired first, and even then, there is still doubt as to whether they would be willing to part ways with the Moroccan. The 25-year-old was signed by Die Rekordmeister just last summer on a free transfer from Ajax, signing a long-term deal until 2026.

Last campaign, Mazraoui featured 26 times for Bayern scoring one goal and collecting four assists, as he helped the side win their 11th straight Bundesliga title. He would also be part of Morocco’s remarkable World Cup story as they would become the first African nation to reach the semi-finals of the tournament, where they would ultimately finish fourth.

Nevertheless, Mazraoui has been unable to assert himself as a consistent starter for the record champions. His season was blighted by various injuries and this could allow him one more season to prove himself at the Allianz Arena.
