West Ham ready to pay €25m for Konstantinos Mavropanos

As reported by English media, cited by Kicker, Premier League side West Ham United are ready to pay a fee just under €25m to sign Stuttgart defender Konstantinos Mavropanos.

On loan from Arsenal, Stuttgart would have to pay around €3m to make his move permanent which could then see VfB move Mavropanos on for a significant return, a tempting figure for a club occupying the relegation playoff.

Mavropanos has struggled with injuries in his career but the 24-year-old has proved himself this season, playing 30 games in all competitions for Stuttgart.

The Greece international has previously expressed his desire to return to the Premier League one day.
