Thomas Reis on VfL Wolfsburg rumours: “If there was a request, I would listen to everything.”

According to Bild, VfL Bochum head coach Thomas Reis is the most desired man to take over at VfL Wolfsburg.

Wolfsburg are on the lookout for a new head coach when Florian Kohfeldt was relieved of his duties at the end of a disappointing campaign.

This season, Reis guided newly-promoted Bochum to a comfortable 13th place which included wins over Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.

When asked about a possible move to Wolfsburg, Reis said: “It is well known that I have a close relationship with VfL Wolfsburg. After all, I worked there for many years as a junior coach. If there was a request, I would listen to everything. It’s part of the business. Bochum would be involved in all processes.”

Other managers that have been mentioned for the job include Adi Hütter, Daniel Farke, Sandro Schwarz and Bruno Labbadia.
