Stuttgart sporting director Sven Mislintat hopes that Saša Kalajdžić will remain at the Bundesliga club despite interest from Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.
“We’re still hoping he will stay,” Mislintat told DPA. “Saša once said he won’t leave us on a free due to the support he got from us. That means if there’s no movement in the summer, we have legitimate hope that he’ll extend.”
Kalajdžić, along with Borna Sosa and Orel Mangala have all been linked with a move away from Stuttgart but Mislintat doesn’t believe that all three need to leave.
“We don’t have to sell all three,” added Mislintat. “We still haven’t received concrete offers for neither of them, so we’re relaxed. We have price expectations for all three.”
As he enters the final year of his contract, it’s reported that Stuttgart will be willing to sell Kalajdžić should they receive a fee of around €25m.
