Sky Germany report that Paderborn forward Sven Michel will undergo a medical check with Bundesliga side Union Berlin ahead of signing a contract until 2024.
The 2. Bundesliga side will receive a reported fee of around €2m. Michel arrives at Union as Max Kruse returns to fellow Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.
Michel has scored 14 and created seven in 18 league games for Paderborn this season.
