Stuttgart’s Jan-Carlo Simic completes Milan medical

Stuttgart defender Jan-Carlo Simic (17) has today completed his medical at Milan, according to Kicker.

The Bundesliga side will received a reported fee of around €1m including bonuses for Simic, who played 16 games for the U17 squad last season and just missed out on the U17 German championship.

Simic, who has been promoted to Stuttgart’s U19 squad this season, also finished third with Serbia at the 2022 U17 European Championship held in May.

Born in Nürtingen, Simic has represented Serbia at youth level, playing five times for the U17 squad. His performances last season also attracted interest from several parties.

Entering the final year of his contract, Milan will assign Simic to their Primavera squad where he will gain experience before playing Serie A football.

Although Stuttgart are losing one of their biggest talents in Simic, Dennis Seimen, Laurin Ulrich, Samuele di Benedetto, Luca Raimund and Paulo Fritschi have all extended their contracts, per the report.
