Sandro Schwarz set to become Hertha Berlin head coach

According to Kicker, Sandro Schwarz is set to succeed Felix Magath as Hertha Berlin head coach.

The 43-year-old has a contract with Dynamo Moscow until 2024 but it’s reported that he will terminate his contract after their Russian Cup final against Spartak Moscow. If he is successful on the weekend, it will be Dynamo’s first silverware since 1995.

Last season, Schwarz finished 3rd in the Russian Premier League behind Zenit St. Petersburg and FK Sochi.

The German previously managed Mainz 05 between 2017 and 2019.
