After Bayern Munich reached an agreement with Liverpool, Sadio Mané will arrive in Germany next week to undergo a medical at the Bundesliga side on Tuesday, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg further adds that the official presentation could take place on Wednesday with plans to present the Senegal international at the Allianz Arena.
Mané will sign a three-year contract with Bayern Munich until 2025 after Sporting Director Hasan Salihamidžić finalised the deal, reported to be an initial €32m excluding bonuses, on Friday afternoon after flying to Manchester for talks with Liverpool’s counterpart Julian Ward and Mané’s agent, Björn Bezemer.
Mané doesn’t arrive as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski but adds a wealth of experience to the Bayern Munich squad having won every trophy during his six-year spell at Liverpool.
The 30-year-old has scored 120 goals and created 48 in 269 games in all competitions for Liverpool and can play anywhere across the attacking line. Last season, Mané contributed 20 goals (16 goals, 4 assists) in 34 Premier League games.
