Sadio Mané is Bayern Munich’s highest earner

With an estimated salary of €22m, Sadio Mané (30) is Bayern Munich’s highest earner following the departure of Robert Lewandowski (€24m-€26m), according to Bild.

Manuel Neuer (up to €21m) and Thomas Müller (€20.5m) follow the Senegalese forward. Leroy Sané and Kingsley Coman (€20m) closely lead Joshua Kimmich (€19.5m) and Serge Gnabry (€19m).

Summer arrival Matthijs de Ligt (€16m) waived a portion of his salary to join Bayern Munich from Juventus for a reported €80m including bonuses.

Bayern Munich kickstart their Bundesliga season with a game against Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday. Like Bayern’s DFL Supercup win against RB Leipzig, Mané is expected to start alongside Serge Gnabry in attack.

Speaking in Bayern’s club magazine, Säbener 51, ahead of tonight’s game, Mané said: “I don’t see myself as a world start at all. I just care about being part of the team. I’ll do anything for that. I want to push my teammates to the limit, scoring goals and providing assists. I here to do my best for Bayern Munich.”
